About Me

Hello I’m J. I live in the midwest, Ohio to be exact. I’m about 30 miles outside of Columbus in a not-so-small, small town. I currently still live at home in a tiny 8′x10′ room which I love. I’m a photographer and I’m in the process of starting up my own business. I’d love to be a photojournalist. I would also love to start my own photography magazine and open a coffeshop/bakery/art gallery someday.

I was born in Syracuse, NY but grew up in Penn Yan, NY; Wooster, OH and Melbourne, Australia which is where my dad was born and raised. My family and I moved to our current location when I was in the middle of 6th grade, and let me tell you something, middle school is hard enough, imagine starting middle school as the new kid. Yea, it sucked you-know-what.

I’m single which, for the most part, enjoy yet there are many times where I wished I had a boyfriend. For many reasons.

My favourite city in the US is Chicago. I’d pack up and move there in a heartbeat but I’d miss my family and friends to much and would be miserable. I really want to backpack through Europe one day but I don’t want to go alone, maybe I’ll go for my honeymoon.

I was diagnosed with ADD during my senior year of High School. I swear sometimes I’m dyslexic. I have the attention span of a 5 year old. I love writing but I hate reading. I love watching movies. I have a cowlick in the back of my head which causes my hair to poof up when I wear it down, no amount of straightening it helps. I played soccer for two years in college and miss it terribly. I coach rugby, which I also used to play. I think Dane Cook is hilarious. I secretly want to marry Gerard Butler. I’m 100% straight but I have a secret straight-girl crush on Peyton from One Tree Hill.
